The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian by Sherman Alexie

The book I read was The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian, by Sherman Alexie. It’s about a boy named Junior who lives on the Indian Reservation who was born with many medical problems. As people pick on Junior and his family not caring for him, he decides to go to a all white school. This makes his best friend Rodney very mad, so mad there friendship may be over. One of the quotes from this book is “ I was born with water in my brain.” Sherman Alexie really makes you want to keep reading says the Los Angeles Times. This book is so original I laughed consistently from beginning to end quotes Amy Sedaris. Once you pick this book up you can’t put it down! The recommended age group for this is young adults.
