The Strange Case of Origami Yoda by Tom Angleberger

I read the book The Strange Case of Origami Yoda by: Tom Angleberger. It’s about a boy named Tommy who believes his friend Dwight is crazy. Dwight is not your average six grader, he does very weird stuff. One day he decided to make a Origami Yoda puppet that can predict the future. Many people believed that Dwight was trying to make a friend, but soon the whole school believes that Yoda is magic. The New York Times said “a delightful first novel, part of what drives the story is the question of Origami Yoda's credibility, but the other is our growing involvement in the friendships and crushes of Tommy and his pals.” The reading age is 9-12. One of the quotes from the book is “ The question: Is Origami Yoda real? Read and find out if Origami Yoda is real!
